Amber's Legacy was honoured to once again be invited to Sunderland City Hall during Cervical Cancer Awareness Week to help raise awareness of cervical cancer, the importance of attending regular smear tests (cervical screening), and the role of the HPV vaccine in preventing cervical cancer.
Throughout the week, we had the opportunity to engage with staff and visitors, providing information, answering questions, and encouraging open conversations about women's health. By increasing awareness and promoting early detection, we hope to help more people understand the importance of cervical screening and HPV vaccination in saving lives.
We are also incredibly grateful to Sunderland City Hall for displaying our cervical cancer awareness messages on their digital screens. Their support has helped amplify these vital health messages and reach even more members of our local community.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Sunderland City Council and everyone at City Hall for their continued support of Amber's Legacy and our mission to improve awareness, education, and access to information surrounding women's health.
