Amber’s Legacy Shortlisted as a 2026 Picker Experience Awards Finalist

We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to announce that Amber’s Legacy has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2026 Picker Experience Awards, alongside the School Age Immunisation Team at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

This recognition means so much to us because it reflects something we are incredibly passionate about — working together to improve health awareness, education and experiences for young people, families and communities.

Working Together to Make a Difference

Amber’s Legacy was created to raise awareness of women’s health and to encourage open, honest conversations around subjects that can sometimes be difficult to talk about.

Through our work in the community, we have seen first-hand how important early education and accessible information can be.

Our work alongside the School Age Immunisation Team at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has allowed us to support conversations around HPV vaccination, helping young people and parents understand why the vaccine is important and giving families an opportunity to ask questions in a safe and supportive environment.

For us, this is about much more than a vaccination.

It is about education, prevention, confidence and giving young people the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health.

Breaking Down Barriers

We know that conversations around HPV, vaccination and future cancer prevention can sometimes feel difficult.

By working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and our local communities, we hope to make those conversations easier.
